tl;dr — what this policy says.
You give us your name, email, phone, and a description of your project through our contact form. We use that to send you a quote and follow up until the work is done or you tell us to stop. We don't sell it, we don't hand it to marketers, and we delete it when it's no longer useful. If you want a copy of what we have, or want it wiped, email us and we'll do it within 30 days.
The rest of this page is the full version, written so you can actually read it.
Only what you give us.
When you fill out the contact form on our site, we collect:
- Your name — so we can address you like a person
- Your email address — so we can send you the quote
- Your phone number — so we can call if the project needs a conversation
- Your business name — optional, but helpful for context
- The service you're interested in — pre-filled if you clicked a "Request Quote" button from our services page or calculator
- Your project description — whatever you write in the message field
That's the entire list. We don't collect anything you didn't type into the form. We don't ask for payment information on the site (invoices and payment happen separately, over email or in person, after a quote is agreed).
To do the work you asked us to do.
We use your information for one primary purpose: responding to your project inquiry and delivering the work.
- Sending you a project quote within 24 business hours
- Following up if we need more information to finalize the quote
- Coordinating design, production, and installation logistics
- Sending invoices and payment details once the project is scoped
- Following up after project delivery to make sure everything landed well
- Occasionally checking in months later if we think you might have another project coming
We do not add you to a marketing email list, a newsletter, or any automated drip campaign. If we email you, a human at Interstellar wrote it specifically for you.
Nobody who doesn't need it.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not trade it, rent it, or hand it to marketing companies. Full stop.
The only people who see your information beyond our three founders are:
- Our fabrication and installation partners — when your project requires signage production or on-site install, we share the minimum information they need to do the work (project specs, install address, sometimes a contact number for coordination). These partners are bound by professional working relationships and confidentiality.
- Our email and CRM providers — we use standard business tools (Google Workspace for email, Odoo for project management) that store your information on their secure servers. These are operational necessities, not data-sharing arrangements.
- Law enforcement, if legally compelled — if we receive a valid legal request (subpoena, court order), we will comply. We will notify you unless the order prohibits it.
Long enough to be useful, not longer.
Project inquiry information stays in our CRM for up to two years after your last interaction with us. This lets us reference past work if you come back with a related project, and keeps records for tax and business purposes.
After two years of no contact, we archive or delete the information as part of our regular data hygiene.
Financial records (invoices, payment confirmations) are kept for seven years, as required by US tax law.
If you want your information deleted before those timelines, email us and we'll handle it within 30 days.
Almost none.
Our website does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, session recorders, or behavioral analytics tools. We don't have Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics tracking, or third-party marketing tags on the site.
The only third-party service loaded on our pages is Google Fonts, which loads our typefaces (Poppins, Playfair Display, Oswald). Google receives your IP address as part of this standard font-loading process — this is not something we control or use, and it doesn't identify you personally.
We may add basic anonymous visitor analytics in the future (page views, traffic sources) to help us improve the site. If we do, we'll update this policy to say so, and we'll use privacy-respecting tools that don't track individuals.
You control your information.
You have the right to:
- Know what we have — request a copy of the information we hold about you
- Correct anything wrong — update inaccurate information
- Delete everything — request full removal from our systems (within legal record-keeping constraints)
- Opt out of future contact — tell us to stop reaching out, and we will
- Refuse to be contacted at all — you can submit an inquiry and specify how you prefer to be reached (or not reached)
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@interstellarprintandsign.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We respond within 30 days.
Our services are for businesses, not kids.
Interstellar Print & Signage provides commercial services to businesses. Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us and we will delete it immediately.
We'll tell you if this changes.
If we make material changes to how we handle your information, we will update this page and update the effective date at the top. For significant changes, we may email past clients directly.
We don't change privacy policies quietly, and we don't hide behind "we may update this at any time" clauses.
